Patricia K. Simpson
Patricia K. Simpson was born in Kodiak, Alaska in 1965.  She graduated in 1989 from Mississippi State University where she received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees.  While at Mississippi State University, she was a member of Phi Delta Honor Society and served as the graduate representative for the Department of Social Sciences.  Patricia attended Mississippi College School of Law where she was a member of the Law Review and earned the American Jurisprudence award for Torts II.  After her admission to the bar, Patricia practiced as a plaintiff’s attorney.  Her practice was primarily personal injury litigation.  She tried cases involving bankruptcy adverse actions, domestic disputes and election contests.  She was later appointed Deputy City Attorney for the City of Jackson.  In that position she tried cases in both State and Federal Court. Patricia’s duties involved serving as the primary federal court litigator on behalf of the city and the prosecution of criminal cases.  Patricia subsequently joined Franke & Salloum where she practices in the area of litigation, primarily medical malpractice, premises liability and insurance defense.  She is a certified mediator.  She is a member of the American Inns of Court, Mississippi Defense Lawyers Association, Harrison County Bar Association, the Mississippi State Bar and the Fifth Circuit Bar Association.        

Patricia and her family are members of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach where they volunteer their time fund raising for St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School.
