G. Laithan Simmerman
G. Laithan Simmerman was born in Mobile, Alabama in 1995. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Mississippi State University in 2017, where he received a degree in political science. While attending Mississippi State, he served as Vice President of the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. While in college, Laithan spent a summer in Washington, D.C. as a congressional intern for U.S. Senator Thad Cochran.
In 2020, Laithan received his Juris Doctorate from Mississippi College School of Law, where he served as Student Body President, and was a member of the Moot Court Board. While in law school he served as an intern for Mississippi State Senator Brice Wiggins and as an extern for United States Congressman Michael Guest. He also served as a legal intern for the Mobile County District Attorney’s office and for Mobile County District Court Judge Spiro Cheriogotis.
Laithan joined Franke & Salloum, PLLC in 2020. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and is a member of the Mississippi Bar. Laithan serves as President of the Harrison County Young Lawyers Association.
